I realize that RIM really likes to work their employees to the bone but this is getting a bit over the top. I received an email from RIM’s Beta Zone resending my BlackBerry Messenger Keycode. It like they are getting a little overwhelmed with requests for keycodes for BBM 18.104.22.168. So overwhelmed in fact that they sent out the following message:
Hello, With the
recent release of the new BlackBerry Messenger v22.214.171.124 software there have been many reports from customers needing keycodes to be resent. Based on the sheer volume of requests, we are resending out these keycode s to all BlackBerry Messenger participants. Please disregard this email if you are not upgrading to the new software or if you have kept your old keycode , as this will work for the new Messenger software. See below the keycode registered to your account for BlackBerry Messenger. Please retain this email for your records.
Anybody else thinking that RIM maybe needs to give these guys a break? Its like split personalities wrote the same email, both formal and casual. Either way no harm done just a good laugh for everybody in the BBM Beta Group. I just wonder why RIM does not let you just resend your own keycode and cut down on the manual work for their employees… (BTW it would also be nice if one of the personalities would notice they have the wrong version number in the email.)
Thanks NahUhh for the pic
