HOT! Pocket Informant FREE TODAY ONLY @ Handango

free app friday pocket informant Holy… Sems let me know that Handango has a Free App Friday today where you can pick up the awesome Pocket Informant for BlackBerry app for FREE!!! That is an amazing price considering the fact that it usually costs $19.99.

There are two things you need to know about getting this deal. First of all you need to use the 100% off coupon code FAF716. You will also have to remove the $4.99 price gouging download protection unless you want to be able to download it in the future. That might make sense for updates but its your call.

You can download Pocket Informant free at this link on Handango’s website

Keep in mind the Handango Free App Friday expires Midnight 7.16.2010 C.S.T.

  1. Actually, in this case you are provided with a serial number. Since it is not a full version app, but rather you download trial and insert your serial, download protection is totally unnecessary.

  2. Downloaded. Now to learn to use this!

  3. Here’s an interesting FYI: I don’t think I need this but downloaded it anyway. I thought my father-in-law, on the other hand, might really like it. I was able to go in a second time and go through the entire process and enter his PIN and get a second registration code – all with the same Handango account!! (Let’s just hope there’s no surprises on my CC bill.) So if you’ve jumped on this but also want to get it as a gift for a friend or loved one – it’s that easy (as long as you know their PIN.)

  4. This app has some serious conflicts with my storm2 9550/ … Wtf! Tgif lol …. It needs to run in compatibility mode – which stinks – and if you disable it the app is non functional. I just switched back and am receiving the same message but I’m going to do a battery pull and see what happens. Ill repy back with an update …. AD

    • geez…wondering if I should install then since I have the same Storm. Can you keep me posted please? and yes TGIF! 🙂 that was funny.

  5. Nice. Just bought it.

According to them, the registration key is not locked to the PIN..

Anyw, can someone teach me how to use it? The download is in exe!

  6. Ok… Where is the damn software? Went to there website. Do the whole process thing. They text a link to my phone to download the software. But when I click on the link all it does is take me back to there effing website. WTF??? Am I doing something wrong?

  7. Anyone know how to download this?

  8. I DL-ed the 4.2-4.6 version. Does not work on my 8900. In the confirmation mail it says there is a version for OS 5.o but I can’t find it anywhere. Kind of frustrating! Can someone point me to the 5.0 version?

  9. Ok. I figured it out as far as the download. Went back to the site and instead of sending it to the phone this time I downloaded it to my desktop and used the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and it downloaded. And just like the previous comment from adel7686… the effing software is buggy and works half ass on the BlackBerry Storm 9530 os 5.0. Did numerous battery pulls with all permissions to allow. This is the second app from these guys that I had to delete. The first app was one that I paid for. Software was buggy and it slowed my phone down noticeably. I requested a refund and they kindly obliged. So download with caution. Don’t get your hopes up if you have a Storm.

  10. Went to checkout and they want my CC info even though the app is free? WTF? #FAIL!

  11. For those having troubles with install, why don’t you grab the OTA install via your Blackberry from the author’s site

    BB OS 4.2-4.6 –

    BB OS 4.7-5.0/Storm/Tour –
