NOTE: These hybrids are meant only for advanced users since you really can screw up your device if you install them wrong and you wont get any support from RIM. Proceed at your own risk!
Driphter has gone and publicly released their latest OS 6.0 based hybrids for the BlackBerry 85xx, 8900, 9000, and 9700. This is their second release with even more OS 6.0 files included. I installed it on my 9700 and am loving it. Others are reporting that it has a good radio and browser build in it. Keep in mind these builds are meant to be installed on top of the base OS so you will need to follow the instructions to the letter!
You can find the download files and instructions for your device in the Driphter forums for now until they put up a main post for it. Alternatively you can find them on the download page. Just select your device and instructions are in the hybrid forums.
Let us know if it works for you!

I installed this last night and I see no difference. The only thing that I noticed that changed was the App version to 6.0.0.31. I have a Bold 9000 was on 5.0.0.1137/5.0.0.681. Everything else looks the same. Can anyone please tell me whats different?

Does this have the new webkit browser or just a faster version of the sub-par BlackBerry browser we’re all used to?
