eVoice Releases Free BlackBerry App For Their Users

evoice phones I was waiting for a vendor to finally release an app like this. eVoice is sort of like a business focused take on Google Voice. You pay for the service unlike Google Voice and in return you get actual customer service which is necessary for business services. The eVoice solution lets you easily meld your business and personal life by providing you with a virtual number. It allows you to route incoming business calls to  your many phone numbers so you can be found outside the office.

They just released a free BlackBerry app for their subscribers that gives them the following features:

  • Click to Call/Caller ID: This feature allows eVoice subscribers to maintain a professional image when making business related calls from the BlackBerry by allowing the user to return calls directly from within the message, while displaying the user’s eVoice number as the outgoing Caller ID.
  • Message Search: Saves time by enabling users to quickly locate a specific voicemail by searching on message keywords.
  • Enhanced Dialing: Speed dial allows important business contacts to be reached with one touch directly from within the app, displaying the eVoice phone number as the outgoing Caller ID.

The app gives your BlackBerry the ability to use dual lines for incoming and outgoing calls through your eVoice number. You can place a call from the app and it wil look like your business number on the receivers caller ID. The service has a six month free trial after which you have a choice of three plans, starting at $12.95/mo and including: choice of toll-free or local number; auto attendant; call routing (forwarding, transfer, screening); enhanced voicemail; voicemail-to-text; customized professional greeting; conference calling; online account administration and call history; custom hold music; and more.
