At first I didn’t understand what this app did so I will explain it a bit. When you are playing video on your BlackBerry you might want to grab one picture or frame from the video and send it of or save it as a picture instead of a video. I thought it would be simple to do this with any screenshot program but when I tried ZonaSnap I always ended up with blank black screens every time… I guess its not so simple taking a screenshot of video.
Apparently Ajani InfoTech found a way to do it within their own application. Video Shots lets you grab any picture from inside video from your BlackBerry. You could always do this with some free PC software and a little bit of know how but this app lets you do it from your BlackBerry. That’s pretty cool but I am not sure if somebody would need the app often enough to justify the $2.99 price tag in App World. Maybe RIM does need to offer developers a price option between free and $2.99…
PS: I am sure somebody @ RIM legal is having a heart attack from the Alice in Wonderland screenshots…
