In RIM’s usual fashion they still do not support synching your BlackBerry with Outlook 2010. They are usually a few months behind the curve but they will probably release a version of Desktop Manager with BlackBerry 6 to support Outlook 2010.
The irony of this whole situation is that third party sync solution provider, CompanionLink, has released a solution for Outlook 2010 before RIM. They just announced that their CompanionLink software now also supports Outlook 2010 in 32-bit and 64-bit versions. They also have a product that will sync your Outlook with GoogleApps/Gmail and then sync it back to your BlackBerry using Google Sync.
All in all a pretty interesting product which syncs contacts, calendar events, multiple calendars, tasks, contact notes, and contact photos. If you are in dire need of a solution you can pick up a 14 day free trial of CompanionLink at this link after which it costs $49.95. The Outlook to GoogleApps/Gmail sync solution costs $39.95.

Interesting, thanks for the tip. (But it’s not “ironic.” It would be ironic if CompanionLink broke Blackberry syncing.)

I thought ironic could also mean dry sarcastic humor in a situation
