Twitter For BlackBerry Update Will Start To Roll Out Tonight

The BlackBerry Official blog just released a list of new features for the BlackBerry Twitter client that will roll out starting tonight. Based on all the feedback that was provided by the users the list include:

The update is now live at this LINK V. 1.0.0.40

  • Quote Tweets – This allows you to edit when you ReTweet a message
  • Username Auto Complete – when you start a new Tweet and you type “@” a list of your contacts pops up.
  • Go to User – will allows access to users profile from anywhere, user name auto complete is integrated with this option
  • Personal Information Guard – warns user if they are disclosing personal information on public Tweets
  • Additional Photo viewing support – allows to preview photos from Tweetphoto and Yfrog
  • NEw Navigation Hotkeys
  • A bunch of new hotkeys have been added for speedy navigation, Familiarize yourself with the list below as they are quite helpful:

The update will be pushed out to BlackBerry app world under the Test Center and if you already have it go to options check for updates.
