I am pretty intense about upgrading Slacker on my BlackBerry because I use it every day and run into all the bugs. Its great to see that Slacker is constantly trying to improve by squashing their bugs and it has been a slow progression to a more stable release. For example, today the app decided to all of a sudden play music through the speakerphone while I was in the elevator. It was a fun 30 seconds trying to get it to shut up.
Tim let us know Slacker has just updated their app again to v3.0.470. Here is to hoping that this version is significantly better!
Download the latest version of Slacker at www.slacker.com from your BlackBerry.

hahaha
I have a question btw, recently I noticed that version 2 doesn’t show any album artist pictures, is that one way to force the upgrade?

I sure hope this update fixs the issue I’m having. Would play a sound then stops. Had to touch my trackerpad for it to work again. The down side is I will have to cache all my music again..ugh.

I hear you bro, I hated the new version. On my 9700 I could skip a song and it would instantly start playing, but on the newer version (the one before this) it never pre-buffers the next song anymore. I have premium so I can skip as many times as I want, with the new version it makes no difference. I hit next and have to wait a while 30+ seconds sometimes for next song to start playing. Again, I never had this problem with the older version. I wonder if there is any buffer setting some place that we need to change.. This is outrageous.
