RIM Updates Help Website – Remembers It Exists

BlackBerry Mobile help 2 BlackBerry Mobile help

Every few months or even years RIM suddenly remembers about its help portal. Jay let us know that RIM just updated it again with a newer style along with more free ringtones and some nice Love BlackBerry wallpapers. I did not get a chance to dig into it fully but it has not changed that drastically.

Still it blows my mind that RIM is not more active on their MAIN mobile BlackBerry website. They still have no themes available for new devices and don’t even link to their own official blogs and social networking sites from what I can see. The first link is oddly for “Search the Internet” which anybody could do from the BlackBerry Browser GoTo screen. Do users really need a link to Google? Were they struggling to find They also no longer have any free games available which really bums me out.

What do you think of the new update? Let us know if we missed anything!

  1. You gotta wonder just WHAT does RIM corporate THINK when it comes to PR and Marketing…wow!

  2. Thanks for the mention! I was very surprised to see the site had been updated. As for the ‘Search the Internet” link, I have no idea. The other problem I have with it is how annoying it is to download ringtones. You have to download each one separately and it takes forever. It should be directly linked to their main site or MyBlackBerry for easier downloads.
