Mobile Spy Now Offers More BlackBerry Spying Information

Mobile Spy I am on the fence when it comes to commercial spyware. Retina-X Studios just released Mobile Spy 4 which now provides even more insight into what is being done on devices where it is installed. The new version now includes the ability to view every picture taken on the BlackBerry along with every email sent or received. They also log SMS messages, GPS location, and call information which can be viewed from their website. They claim this is for employers to monitor their employees or ensure children are communicating safely.

  • Call Log – Each incoming and outgoing number is logged along with duration and time stamp.
  • SMS (Text Messages) Log – Every text message is logged even if the phone’s logs are deleted. Includes full text.
  • GPS Locations Log – GPS positions are uploaded every thirty minutes with a link to a map.
  • Contacts – Every contact on the phone is logged. New contacts added are also recorded.
  • Tasks – All personal tasks that are created are logged and viewable.
  • Memos – Every memo input into the phone is logged and viewable.
  • Cell ID Locations – ID information on all cell towers that the device enters into range of is recorded.
  • E-Mail Log – All inbound & outbound email activity is logged. Emails are viewable in their entirety.
  • Calendar Events – Every calendar event is logged. Date, time, and locations are recorded.
  • Photo & Video Log – All photos & videos taken by the phone are recorded & are viewable.

Check it out at this link if this is a solution you have been looking for. Personally I think it is just evil… especially since it costs $99.97 a year.
