  1. i hope this comes out fast, my girl needs an upgrade. love you boo.

  2. This is SO lame, it pains me.

  3. I love my Blackberry, I would not have any other phone but this ad made me laugh. RIM needs to stick to what they do best which is creating a solid piece of hardware with a (mostly) solid OS and they need to stop trying to be the “cool” kid. I don’t care if my BB has coverflow style music browsing, although aesthetically pleasing it’s not the best way to browse your music library, it’s really not. What really got me is the choice of song though, somebody in marketing was not paying attention AT ALL, “I’m so two thousand and eight, you’re so two thousand and late”. Seriously?? What a mess. LOL

  4. Link uptop says not for mobile viewing. Can you fix it.

  5. Will see if we can find one that works with mobile browser

  6. What’s new? O_o
There is nothing novel on that video. Just a dumbed down OS interface for touch screens. I really hope BB has something new to offer in the speed/reliability/expandability department because I’m getting tired of it by now and I don’t want an iPhone.

  7. Now only if my provider (i.e. Rogers) would only provide a BB touch device (i.e. Storm 2)… then half of this may be useful.

    Wake-up Rogers!!

  8. LOL… I mean, I love my Blackberry 9700 and all, but…this ad is just ridiculous!!!!

  9. That video was TERRIBLE… but the OS definitely looks nice

  10. Love the ad. I’m guessing the people who hate it are over 35 or square, or both. Clearly Blackberry was targeting the younger, more iPhone prone crowd w/ this ad. I I digress though…. The updates to the OS look good but based on what they’re showing it looks like Blackberry has lost all innovation and is satisfied with the “just enough” approach now. Not sure if it will attract new users but those who are familiar and comfortable with the OS (and not adventurous) will stick around and be happy.

  11. Until they add 8+ Gig of memory for apps (not just storage as they allow now with the sim cards), they’ll never compete with the newer touch screen phones, and I am a Blackberry user 😉 Just starting to feel sort of silly with my massive (lol!!!) 128 Meg of app memory… Which never has more than 20 Meg available by the way. Still love it though, since I’m not all about apps, but that is the #1 limiting factor of the Blackberry right now and they’ll be behind until they fix that.
