I know quite a few people are waiting for RIM to officially release their BlackBerry Twitter client that is in private (read “leaked”) beta. Kevin over @CrackBerry managed to get some information on the release date from the BlackBerry booth at CTIA.
According to them the BlackBerry Twitter client should be rolling out to all users on March 31st. That is right around the corner and I am dying to know if RIM managed to squeeze some performance improvements in the final product.
Who knows maybe they will even be able to add some of those rumored features we heard about yesterday.

Push notifications of @replies would be a killer addition…for now. I’m sure the other apps (SS, UT, TG, etc) will implement push now that RIM has opened it up to developers. Pushing DMs isn’t all that helpful if you already have them set up to email via Twitter web.
