More Pictures of Upcoming BlackBerry Pearl 9100 (aka Striker)

While RIM has yet to reveal the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 its existence has been well documented. There are even some rumors that it might come with a full keyboard variant.

The latest slew of pictures comes to us courtesy of Tecnomovida which just posted some nice and clear shots. They even have a good one of the music controls on the top of the device. Sadly it is still sporting SureType and this version is running OS though oddly it is on platform version

Let us know what you think!  – Thanks to DavidB for the tip!

  1. “Sadly it is still sporting SureType” – Are you kidding me? IMHO, SureType on the Pearl is great. If you actually learn how to type with SureType you can type amazingly fast with it. After switching from my 8130 to the Storm 9530 and then to the Storm2 9550 (my current device), I’ve continued to use the SureType because I can type so fast with it. I’ll bet the keys on the full size keyboard version of the 9100 will be too small to type with because that device is much narrower than a Curve or Bold.

  2. I’m just curious to see what’s after this 9000 series, and this OS 6.0 coming in sometime in the near future, what do you guys think =)

  3. SureType, Yeah!!! About time. Nothing fun about wearing my phone on my belt looking like an old school baller. I loved my 8100, adored the 8120. Hurry with the 9100!!!! And keep the full size keyboard for those who insist on watching the screen while they type.

  4. I could always type faster on the pearl than a qwerty pad. Not because of what Suretype does, just physically faster. Love It!

Looking forward to it and will replace the qwerty device with a suretype.

  5. Hey, it looks beautifully designed
    Looking forward for further leak

  6. Great…but…WHEN??
    When we will take one?
