Facebook-working-againHere is a bit of nice news for the weekend. Our friends over @BBNews.pl managed to get some details on upcoming Facebook BlackBerry app updates coming in the near future.

Facebook for BlackBerry v1.8 – Coming May 2010

  • Faster load times
  • Video uploading
  • Replacing BIS-E notifications with BlackBerry Push APIs

Facebook for BlackBerry v2.0 – Coming by end of year

  • User interface redesign
  • People Search

    How about adding this little feature – “Hide”? I turned the Hide on for all of the stupid Farmville, Mafia updates, et al, on my PC, via the web version of Facebook.

    Unfortunately, my BlackBerry still suffers from “I need a board, for my barn!” updates, about every minute.
