This looks like a cool app. I keep up with metal prices and I frequently need to make euro and other conversions when hunting deals online. I’ll check this freebie out!

Well, maybe not unless there is a way to get it installed without install BB App World. No need for that!

I couldnt agree more. I refuse to install App World on my BB.
Plus, why don’t they think about all the users in countries that are still not covered by BB AW.

@yshai I am using a 9700 as well and it is working for me with no problems.
I like the idea of this app especially how tiny it is – only 87kb!
One note I thought I would mention which had me confused at first. If you want to change the primary currency – I live in Canada so rather than have the US $ which is by defaut at the top of the list and the one which is set to 1.000 (and all the other currencies are measured against it).
If you highlight one of the currencies in the list (I assume this is the one you want to change to be the primary) you can delete the numbers there and edit them to be 1.000 giving making every other currency value relative to it and not the US$.

@yshai – I got it to work using version 1.0.0 from the XE.com website and setting my provider APN correctly.
This sucks as I don’t want to use my provider’s WAP access as I pay for the data so I won’t be using the app until (and if) they update the it to use BIS access.
Version 1.0.3 does not work at all – won’t connect
