I actually carry an old 8830 in my bag in teh event that I forget my storm2 at home. I started doing that after I left my phone home one morning and went through withdrawal all day! I’ve only had to activate it once, that being the second time I ever left my primary BB at home. It is quite comforting knowing that I have a backup!

Back when I worked in the telecommunications industry, I met the lovely Paris when she came into the cell phone store I was managing at the time… It was a “RAZR” she bought, if I remember correctly.

Interesting … Actually.. I use my BB more internationally. Everyone can whine about AT&T all they want. But their international BB data plan rocks. Compare that to the international iPhone data rates. I travel a lot.. 200,000+ miles a year. And my BB is my lifeline back to the US. And it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg to stay connected.

Had a customer (with ATT) get her phone stolen in Italy. She contacted me, we did an insurance replacement, and she had it shipped to her overseas. Total cost was about $200 but by God she had her BB.
