Been running a full day. This is the best stable Os. Music is louder, pictures load fast. Browser is much quicker on loading full pages. BBM groups lag a bit.
All apps work but Vlingo. There is a internal servre error. Just email them and waiting for response. Happy DLing everyone.

First off this particular OS is doing the same thing the earlier os’s did-I can’t see names of people in multiple messaging lists, second of all it changed the standby and lock buttons, for absolutely no reason-the mute button is ONLY for muting (music and during the call) and the lock button doesn’t really lock at first, it dims the screen like the standby option used to do. I’ve installed this OS on 4 different 9700′s, two att two t-mobile and all of them have the same problem.

I’ll stick with the *442 for now

One key feature I like about this OS version is, when you move left to right in day selections in the calendar (looking at hours from monthly view), you can only jump 1 day at a time and it won’t accidentally shift days when trying to move up or down the hours.

  6. when i plug my bb into the pc now via usb it gave me a fantastic message that it will not charge the phone via usb. bummer :/
that used to come in handy

Just to clarify my post- once I did this upgrade, I could no longer charge my phone when it is plugged into the pc. I got a message – but I quickly flicked it off the screen, something about it not being supported.
I did this upgrade due to the growing amount of wsod (white screen of death) on this thing. I’m happy so far with the upgrade, I can get used to the “no usb charge” and as well as another user mentioned- the mute key and lock key are all messed up. I’ve lost my actual lock icon as well.
I’ll take that over random wsod any day however.
