RIM Answers Some BES Express Questions & Posts Install Video

BES Express Video There are quite a few users and admins excited about the opportunity that BES Express brings to the table. Now that it is finally released RIM has opened up a bit about the new product. Doug over at the official BlackBerry blog rounded up some frequently asked questions and answers that might not have been covered in our BES Express answers and screenshots. Check them out at this link.

Sadly the number one question he did not ask was when are regular consumers going to get some two way sync love. Hopefully Doug will have that covered tomorrow… 🙂

If you have been wondering what it takes to install and configure BES Express RIM has you covered. They have posted a new online video detailing how to install BES Express covering everything from checking requirements to testing the install. Kudos to Bla1ze (via Besmgmt)  for spotting it.

  1. Still can’t get FaceBook calendar/contact integration working :/. Other than that, I love it! I installed BES Express Monday night and I have 3 happy users on it so far.

  2. Just hung up the phone with RIM Tech Support after spending about six (6) hours of installing the BESX onto an Exchange 2007 Server running on Windows Server 2008 R2, after trying to configure many different workarounds to get it to work (the installation went fine), The Rim Rep told me that my server configuration is not supported and BESX will only run on Windows Server 2008 SP2… What a shame!
If anyone knows a workaround – Please post a comment so we can work it out!
