Being a Blackberry user myself, I'm really excited about it. If it's anything like the iPhone app it should provide tons of functionality. In regards to the ability to take a picture of a check to deposit into your account, that it being rolled out to iPhone users in some small test markets already with probable national rollout later this year. There hasn't been any announcements in regard to other phones at this time but I'm sure it'll also happen in the near future.
