I just got a message in my Chase online inbox with the message that they plan on releasing a BlackBerry application in “Early 2010.” They had to change their online terms and conditions to include the new service which is why they sent out the notification. We told you previously that an app was coming soon but its nice to see some more confirmation.
Anybody else excited to get a Chase app? Their mobile website is pretty good but an app will hopefully provide more functionality. I really wish Chase would let you take a picture of a check to cash it… Now that would be cool!
Full message from Chase below:

Yup, I would use.
But I would rather a REAL Quicken app that can tie in to all that desktop Quicken can tie in to, like Chase and BoA and TD and Citi and whatever.

I am a Chase employee and we just received word that it should be happening in the next 30 days. Being a Blackberry user myself, I’m really excited about it. If it’s anything like the iPhone app it should provide tons of functionality. In regards to the ability to take a picture of a check to deposit into your account, that it being rolled out to iPhone users in some small test markets already with probable national rollout later this year. There hasn’t been any announcements in regard to other phones at this time but I’m sure it’ll also happen in the near future.

Not that I’ve heard. If you go to http://www.chase.com/blackberry, you can download a home screen icon for Chase Mobile, but that’s all I see for the moment…
