Canpages is Canada’s fastest growing local search company. They just announced a new contest they are running for developers who make use of the new Canpages API in their BlackBerry, iPhone, Android, or web applications. Canpages is offering one grand prize of $5,000 and three runner up prizes of $1,000 which isn’t shabby.
The contest goes on until March 28th giving developers about 4 weeks to develop an application leveraging Canpages’ listing database along with a video showcasing how the app works. The four top applications will be chosen by popular vote from March 15th to March 28th and then Canpages will select the grand prize winner.
