I have the card for my 9700, works great. In conjunction with the latest OS update on my phone, the card is very fast. Thumbnails, pictures, videos and the transfer of music/pictures...all works beautifully.

Can one truly take advantage of the speed through a blackberry, probably not, but since I cross use my cards with my new digital camera and transfer stuff around, the speed does help.

If money is no object, the class 10 is awesome...for the best value versus speed, I would think a lower class may give the better bang for the buck, however, if you will use the card on the camera or copy stuff a lot to the card...the speed bump should help...

I would like to know if the bold (either 9000 or 9700) would be able to utilize this to it's max speed. I have a Class4 8GB unit now and it is not a slouch but faster reads are always welcome!

Pretty nice, not that huge of a jump from class 6, but it's nice that prices will all go down.

Note you must have OS 4.5.0.81 on your BB or higher for a 16GB card to be supported. Older OS version only support 8GB or sometimes less.

I'm not sure what "class" speeds the various BB models are able to support or if "class" even matters to a BB.
