Our trusty Secret Agent 754 has sent us OS 5.0.0.484 for the BlackBerry Storm 9500. I know quite a few of you were waiting for an update on this one and its finally here.

NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.

Well, the official OS 5.0.0.484 has been released by MTS mobility for Storm 9500 by mistake. Have it up & running on my Storm 9500. It is great …

I’ve installed on my Storm 9500. Works seamlessly. Tried all core and third party apps with the firmware and no glitches. Everything runs smoothly! Upgraded from 4.7 to this version. Improvements include, battery life (has made it WAY better!), quickness of scrolling, closing and opening apps is quicker. Overall….it has made the Storm BETTER!! Recommend to those wanting to upgrade!
