Dutch research firm Distimo just released their latest mobile ecosystem report listing the top ranked paid and free applications in the BlackBerry App World. I am not sure what they are basing these numbers off of but they are very interesting. It blows my mind that two out of the top 3 paid BlackBerry apps are memory boosters. Also Pandora is killing Slacker by taking 1st place in free applications compared to 8th place for Slacker. Distimo notes that the BlackBerry App World also has some of the highest prices with an average price of $8.26 for paid apps compared to Android(~$3.50), iPhone (~3.50), & WinMo ($6.99).

Wow, this is a sad, sad day that so many BB users are buying memorybooster….

Honestly I don’t know why. I battery pull once every week just because I’m deleting something, but my batter level never drops below 116, ever…. and after a reboot it’s at around 124… The Storm2 on 436 has an awesome battery life

Give it a couple of weeks and Berryjoose will sink Memory Booster – I ended up deleting it. Worst money I ever spent on an app!
