Note: The Software Platform and Applications version numbers can be found under Options-About screen on the handheld.

If your not running the Vodafone device you will need to go to c:\program file\common files\research In Motion\Apploader and delete the vendor.xml file to be able to load this version to your Storm.

    You have to consider that many are using Vista or Win7 64-bit OS’s. The correct location in this case is:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion

    There is also a backup version of this vendor.xml file in some cases, which also needs to go! Make sure you make backup copies of this file(s) just in case ;-p
