Before the holidays Empower released a screensaver but I was waiting until they were officially released to mention them. They have now released 4 different screensavers with 3 showing animated screens and the last showing your remaining battery power. There are both free and paid versions of the animated screensavers but the free version occasionally shows advertisements for Empower products.

Animated screen-savers are nice (until recently, I had a few different ones installed, from various companies), but they usually smash your battery too much…

I bought the battery version and upon purchasing it I had to download two separate downloads. Neither one of them was the battery app. I had to email Empower to get it. It took them about three days to get back to me with a link to download it. The app did work, but three separate downloads is a little confusing IMO.
