Owen let us know that they just released a free wallpaper changer for the BlackBerry running OS 4.7+. This type of applications give your BlackBerry a new look every time the wall paper changes.
The application is free and you can download directly to you BlackBerry at this link.
Here is a description from the developer along with desktop install process:
Wallpaper Shifter is a smart tool enables your BB to change wallpaper automatically, you can define a folder and desired interval at the same time.
* Only support 4.7 or above OS
How to install:
To install Wallpaper Shifter, download the install files to your PC. Connect your phone to your PC, open your BlackBerry device manager, click Application Loader. Choose WallpaperShifter.alx and install. Reboot your phone and you can find Wallpaper Shifter in Download.

I couldn’t get it to work. Using OS 5.0, BB9000. Wallpapers never changed.

Worked on my 9700, did you select a folder to with pictures on it and also did you set a time frame?

Yep. Selected a folder I created called “wallpaper” which has around a dozen or so pics. Set the time to 10 minutes and made sure Enable WallpaperShifter was selected. I also verified that the app was in memory by bringing up the Application List. Tried rebooting as well.

Only thing I don’t like is the app stays open to run. I dl wallpaper changer lite and it doesn’t stay open to run, but after I installed this and deleted the other.. Reinstalling changer lite no longer works for me.

i cannot seem to get this wallpaper shifter to work…i downloaded it once and it worked, i went back to add more pics and change which folder i wanted to rotate and now when i press on the app it wont do anything, i have deleted it several times and downloaded again, now it wont do anything, if i press it just pauses for 1 minute then it still does nothing
