CES: Pong Case Wants Protect You from Your BlackBerry

pong-case I know that cellphone radiation has been a buzzword topic in the last few years. Every month or so a study is published flip flopping between the radiation being deadly to being harmless. Let me give you a perfect example. In 2003 a study found that cellphone radiation may cause Alzheimers. Another study in 2006 had it exciting our brain cortex. Now a recently published study says that cellphone radiation protects and may even reverse Alzheimers. Confused yet? So am I…

At CES Pong Research announced their new Pong cases for the BlackBerry 8300, 8310, 8320, and 8330 for $49.95. These cases are supposed to reduce your radiation exposure by up to 60% which was verified by Cetecom labs. Now that makes me wonder if the Pong case will protect me or cause Alzheimers…

  1. I am on the fence about cell radiation. I rarely use my for calls, though. I do have an 8330. It is worth noting that the 83XX devices scored tops in radiation output (posted at BR not too long ago, actually).

  2. Well at my age I’m more worried about the radiation not helping me with Alzheimers, I have an 8320. I don’t talk too much on the phone, mostly bbm, and other things. Will all the cancer causing or not causing issues in the world, I’m not to concernd about the radiation at this point
