A few months back RIM purchased Chalk Media and they seem to be making headway with the product. The Chalk Pushcast software has been updated to version 5.4 and now supports deeper integration with BlackBerry Enterprise Servers. It lets companies push audio and video content to BlackBerry devices and this new version supports OS 5.0 devices with a redesigned player.
The multimedia content is trackable and secure (thanks to SSL). The software also allows users to subscribe to video and audio based RSS podcast channels for individuals or groups. The Chalk Pushcast solution consists of:

- Chalk Pushcast Player for BlackBerry smartphones
- Chalk Pushcast Desktop Player
- Chalk Pushcast Tools – including the Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint and the Chalk Pushcast Policy Pack
