PaderSyncSSH Updated Adding Basic Telnet & More

padersyncssh I have been using PaderSyncSSH on my BlackBerry since their beta and they just let us know they have updated the application. The new version 1.0.3 adds some much needed features including Telnet support (People still use Telnet?) along with terminal customizations and a much needed option to not store passwords.

You can find PaderSyncSSH in the store for $29.99. They also provided a video walkthrough of the application and more information on their website. There is a change log after the jump…

  • PaderSyncSSH now has basic Telnet support.
  • New terminal color combinations are available.  Users are no longer bound to the green on black color scheme.
  • ANSI color and graphics support has been improved.  The bitmap font on BlackBerry now contains the line drawing characters and blinking works now.
  • Passwords no longer have to be stored on the device.  It was always possible to encrypt passwords on the device by using a master password for the whole application.  But some users prefer not to store passwords at all.  If the password field is left empty, the password will be prompted on the first connection attempt and only once per PaderSyncSSH session.
  • Other minor bugfixes

  1. I won one of the free copies in the BerryReview giveaway. Are these licenses privy to the lifetime license advertised on the PaderSync site? If so, how does one effect the upgrade?
