Tashanna let us know that Bell Canada has officially released OS 5.0.0.423 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700. It was spotted by the team @BBOS and preliminary reports say its pretty solid.
Please confirm in the comments if this works for you
NOTE: Don’t forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device.

SMS problem with mine too. Conversation threads did not work and all SMS messages filed under one contact’s name. Downgraded to OS 321 and all problems solved.

it doesn’t work with 9700 of T-Mobile, probably for 9700 of AT&T… It creates lots of difficulties in 9700 of T-Mobile, ie. lack of login, blank screen, etc…

it’s not working good, all SMS come under one name, and I can not even send to anyone other than that name, which it’s wrong
