Sprint let us know that they have released their BlackBerry Curve 8530 on their website in black. The phone is going for $49.99 after a $100 rebate with a new contract and an odd regular contract free price of $349.99. Ironically the 8330 is also $49.99 on Sprints website with a contract free price of $569.99.
I have not really seen any new features on this phone other than an included 2GB MicroSD card. There are some interesting new mentions in the product description where Sprint is openly recommending using Pandora and BlackBerry App World. Can’t say I have ever seen that before.
So is anybody going to pick one of these up?

The price difference is cos the 8330 is by far one of the best phone out there
and is going to stay around for a wile
I just got a 8330 last week when i could get a newer BB model
but none of them convince me of being a better phone
in my opinion (Aside from the BB Tour) RIM is going ship really ship in the way they’re making this new models phones
no doubt they look nice ,but again this is my opinion, i think the BB TOUR will be the last phone that when you have it in your hand you know you have a blackberry
(Blackberry user since the 75xx series)

I’ll be picking one up as soon as BestBuy gets them and I can bypass the mail in rebate. Love the form factor and keyboard on this device. The keyboard is very similar to the 83xx series keyboards and since I have nails that is a major plus. Just wish Sprint was getting it in pearl white, that would be killer.
