Increased range for UMA would be a wonderful benefit to having 802.11n available on the Blackberry or other UMA phone.

What's the point? Wireless G is 53 meg which is way faster than most internet connections so as has been said before this is overkill.

I think that WiFi on BlackBerry is completely irrelevant until someone produces a browser that is remotely usable. I have daily iPhone/Droid/Google World Domination Phone (I heard this was the code name....) lust whenever I fire up any of the three BB browsers I try to use on my otherwise flawless BB Bold.

what do I think? I think "n" is massive overkill for that half keyboard and teeny tiny screen on a Pearl! ;)

But, yeah, I can see the benefit of being able to turn off a and b and g on my routers and waps.

From my BlackBerry Storm...
