It was only a matter of time before this happened. Especially since PayPal is powering the BlackBerry App World and eBay just released their beta application. PayPal just announced (press release) that their mobile “Send Money” application is now available for BlackBerrys in the App World.
NOTE: I could not find the app in App World myself but it should show up soon in this search query. Let us know in the comments when you spot it!
You can now easily send money from your BlackBerry phone to anybody on your contact list. You can also check your recent history and account balance from your phone.
The application is free to download and use, and is available on BlackBerry App World in Canada, USA, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, Portugal and Australia.

This is great, but for people who use Paypal invoices, a “Request Money” option would be ideal.

I would not call it a disappointment, I love the address book integration, no need to remember and type an email or number! does the job of sending money.
