Review: FreddyJump for Storm
Cost: $3.99 at the BerryReview Store
There are so many games on the market now for the Storm. The accelerometer makes it easy for developers to create more iPhone-like games. And one game that takes this idea is FreddyJump, created by Lone Drawf Games. Makers of Freddy Falling.
This game is very simple to play. All you have to do is assist Freddy in jumping up from one floating lily pad to the next while getting points for landing on lily pads and for collecting blue diamonds and fruit for points.
Use the birds and mushrooms as a super springboard for a huge jump. Collect umbrellas to give a softer “Mary-Poppins” type of landing.
Just remember to avoid the spines of death! If you happen to miss a lily pad, Freddy will fall to his death and then you will be able to post your score on the online score board for all to see.
The graphics are easy on the eyes. The colors are not too bright nor too dark. And the reaction time for the games is great. The games has yet to stall or slow.
An excellent bonus feature that no one else has yet to introduce is the ability to customize your game music. You can use your own BlackBerry playlist and listen to your own music while making Freddy bounce into the clouds!
Pros: Build your own playlist!
