Berryweather is one of my favorite applications out there the sleek looking UI, and the easy to use menu options. They recently released an update and over the weekend they release version 2.0.63. Current users it is not a free upgrade there is a $3.99 upgrade fee for it. I wish the upgrade was free but $3.99 is not too bad considering the new features it brings. For new customers the application cost $9.95 it can be purchase in the BR store.

I purchased the original twice. And received the upgrade free. One of the main features that I am desiring is the ability to use the weather info as your homescreen Wallpaper. No such luck. There isn’t even an options in the BerryWeather settings for ‘Homescreen Options”. I’m operating a Bold 9700 (T-Mo) running OS .415. Has anyone figured out a cause or solution for this?

Yes, there is a fix for this. Whenever you buy the upgrade, MobiHand gives you the 4.6+ version instead of the 5.0 version you need to enable the homescreen wallpaper. Go to: http://bellshare.com/berryweather to download the correct version. Be sure to uninstall the version you have first and use the same code you got when you bought it.
