Railbandit Releases NYC Subway App

subwayNYC-railbandit Being a New Yorker I just had to mention this latest app by Railbandit. The app is called simply NYC Subway and is kind of like HopStop in your pocket. It lets you plan subway trips using a map between two stations and also includes JFK AirTrain schedules. The schedules are stored on your phone and your past trips are saved as favorites.

There is a version for the Storm and a version for all other devices and either one costs $6.95. Hopefully the price will go down on the app but its still pretty useful!

Besides storing schedules on your device, how does this compare to Google Maps Mobile which is free? I currently use GMM for navigating in NYC and it seems to meet all of my needs.
