Its that time again. The BlackBerry Bold 9700 just got OS 5.0.0.415 leaked and spotted by BBOS. RobinHood_BB is reporting on Twitter that it comes with BlackBerry Messenger 5.0.0.42 along with email settings and some other options.
Let us know what you find!
NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.

Yup the second you get the urge to install a OS another one comes out… Especially with the 9700 which is going to get a ton of leaks as other carriers launch it.

I though build 5.0.0.351 was the most stable. Lets see how 5.0.0.415
runs. Anyone know if the Coporate mail folder is back in this build. It was
in .330 and .351 but its been missing ever since?

What do you mean by “corporate mail folder”? I’ve had a separate icon for my BES email with every version, including .405 and .415.
And actually .351 has bugs that .405 and .415 do not.

What I mean by a seperate email folder (not the messages folder) is one email folder for my personal email (Gmail – BIS) and one folder for my Coporate email (Chase – BES). In version .351 I had both along with the ability to check off what other email accounts should dispay in the messages folder.
These options are not there in .405 (If they exsist I don’t know how to enable them).
If you know how to enable these let me know.

The separate BES folder is pushed out by your BES server. The personal email folder is pushed out by your carrier’s service books. And as far as the Messages folder, I just hide that. It’s pointless if there is already an icon for each email account.

Also, if you want the “Main Message List Settings”. .415 has it, it’s just called “Inbox Settings” now.

Very Nice.
I see my Coporate BES folder (Not sure why this doesnt appear in .405) and personal mail folders. Very Nice. I see there is a new version of BB Messenger also.

does anybody if the bug where the music player stops every time you get a message (sms, bbm, email, etc…) has been fixed in any of these recent releases?

This is the best version so far. All applications that come with it are up to date, except for Documents to go.

Anyone know if the sms bug has been fixed in this release? I’m loath to start messing about with firmware already but it is pretty annoying.
