The 9700 has been getting quite a bit of leak love recently. Am let us know that OS 5.0.0.371 made its way online for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 today. Check it out below:
NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.
Keep the tips coming!

This version multiplies the SMS bug. No matter what format I have my contact’s number in, I still cannot get their name displayed in SMS. It just shows 19995551212.

i had the same problem until i copied all my contacts to my sim card. Even though you have a contact saved on your phone if its not on the sim i will only show the number. good luck

Well i found out that the 9700 only recognizes the number in xxxxxxxxxx form and not in (xxx)xxx-xxx so if you want them to show up just go in and delete the () and the – worked for me

hmmmm. Where’s the quality control? Seems like SMS issue gets worse in each build. Anyone else having the same problem?

Yep, if in .351 I could change it to “+xxxxxxxxxx” and be done with, this build-noting I can do to make it work.
