The latest official release for the BlackBerry Tour 9630 comes to us courtesy of CBeyond (anybody ever hear of them?). It was spotted by ChrisColeman over @BBOS from what I can tell and is the latest and greatest you can find so far.
Please confirm in the comments if this works for you
NOTE: Don’t forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device.

I have this installed on my Verizon tour and all seems to be well (was running .61 prior). If anyone has any questions about anything that may be working/not working, I’ll monitor this thread.

I could tell absolutely zero difference between .65 and .61. I was running it until yesterday, actually, when I finally crossed my fingers and loaded the leaked .230 beta of 5.0. So far so good on that too actually. Maybe I’m just lucky.

Good luck with that .230 on your Tour. I tried it when it first leaked and had so many crashes I quickly went back to 4.7.1. .230 is a VERY old (as far as leaked OS 5′s go) build. Current builds are in the 400′s.

I’m skeptical on this “official” release since all I’ve seen since getting my Tour is version .61. I’m wondering if this fixes the issues with the custom ringtones settings not working?
