Cignias has just announced their new NAO line of music stations. While we usually wait to cover these in a review, there are some cool features with regards to the NAO that we thought we should write about:
- The NAO can connect over bluetooth A2DP to both Blackberries and iPhones to stream music wirelessly;
- WiFi enabled Blackberries can also stream their music to the NAO over WiFi; and here comes the “wow”
- An iPod can be physically docked with the NAO and controlled via Blackberry or iPhone with the free NAO software available in the app store. So besides for streaming music straight from your smartphone, you can leave all your music on your favorite iPod and then merely control the iPod from your smartphone. For people who are adamant about keeping their whole music library on a large capacity iPod, this feature is actually kind of awesome.
