Some of you may have noticed that the BerryReview Websignal Beta is currently down. This is because of our recent move to a new more powerful dedicated server for BerryReview. Sadly that move required us to change our IP address which broke our communications with RIM.
RIM is working on the situation but they estimate that it will take about 3 weeks for the firewall rule to be updated which will allow our new server to communicate with the Websignal infrastructure. They are hoping that the request may go in faster but understandably other higher priority requests have precedence.
We will let you know when the beta is back up and running! On a side note let us know what you thought of the beta while it was working!

I loved that the headline is viewable from the BB Menu screen. Requested feature: An easy way to scroll forward or back through articles…the web signal only loaded one at a time…

@Jay what exactly do you mean by it working on other sites?
@GPQuinn I wish I could pull that off. I am trying to see if there is some other way to do that without websignals…

Websignals are weak in the face of rss. The lack of features or controls is apalling. That said, I use the berryreview websignal from time to time to get a quick update when I’m otherwise not taking the time or effort to browse. I have been wondering how I would unsubscribe if I were to choose to do so.
