SmrtGuard Updated to v2.0.2 – Adds New Remote Features
SmrtGuard let us know that they have released version 2.02 of their popular application. This new version adds a few features but the main thing is a new free trial option for new users. It used to be that you had a free 10 day trial after you signed up with PayPal but now you don’t need to put in payment information. They have also allowed for Remote Backup letting you remotely initiate a backup before you wipe a BlackBerry.
What’s new in v2.02:
- Risk-free Trial without payment information: www.smrtguard.com/riskfree
- Added Remote Backup Function to allow ad-hoc backup to be trigger remotely. (Issue a remote backup before a remote data wipe)
- Added a new Location History Tab on the SmrtGuard Dashboard that displays all of your historical locations.
- Remote Listen feature now allows users to issue call forwarding remotely. This is useful when user forgot smartphone at home but need to re-route calls to another phone.
