Um, NO. Please READ what I wrote: "I followed above link for the Tour OTA". 9630=Tour. The only way your contention could be correct is if YOUR SITE at http://static.appserver.m.bing.net/binaries/rim/v1/9630/Bing.jad ACTUALLY provided a 9530 binary instead of a 9630 binary as the URL would seem to indicate.

So "static.appserver.m.bing.net" isn't part of the "m.bing.com site" that you say hasn't lit up yet for the Tour???

The most likely cause is that you installed the Storm build into your Tour. The m.bing.com site haven't light up for Tour. Should be very soon. That will point you to the correct version of Tour. We tried installation on 4.7 Tour and it installed fine. Thanks.

Thanks for trying this out. Remember the leaked HighRes installation is about 3 weeks old. We should have the final one out very very soon. Will also do an announcement on that.

I have been using the OTA link on my Sprint Tour with 4.7.1.57 and not had any problems with it. So far I like it.

I have a Verizon Tour 9630. I was running official Sprint OS 4.7.1.57 when my phone bricked. I have now upgraded it to official Verizon OS 4.7.1.61.

I also have a Verizon Storm 9530 with official Verizon OS 5.0.0.328.

Hi David,

The OTA link is not really final high-res build. The engineering team is still working on it.

We would like to know which OS version, BB model and carrier so we can give a final look at your configuration.

Got the 9530 version here: m.bing.com/download/

I followed above link for the Tour OTA and it installed a Bing version but it gave me a out of memory error (though I had 83MB free) and then on reboot my Tour was bricked and is displaying a "Reload software" device error!
