PaderSync offered us 30 copies of their new PaderSyncSSH app to give away to 30 lucky winners. The contest is now over and the winners can be found after the jump. If you won don’t forget to thank PaderSync in the comments for this awesome prize.
PaderSyncSSH is a new SSH client for BlackBerry. I used to use MidpSSH which is decent but it is limited in its functionality as a MIDlet and not a RIMlet. They recently also fixed some of the BIS connectivity issues in the latest release. PaderSyncSSH recently came out of beta for $24 on sale until Nov 18th.

WOW! I am super excited to have won! I have yet to have received an email, though. I am very much anxious to try this app out!

I just resent your key. Maybe have a look at your spamfolder and/or search for PaderSyncSSH in topic. A mail that sais ‘congratulations’ and ‘winners’ somewhere in its first few lines is probably suspicious

I just resent your key. I can only suggest to check if it did end up in the spam folder. My mailserver claims there was no error but I will keep an eye on that one.

Please make sure you configure your networking in the PaderSyncSSH Settings->Misc.Settings section. If you use Direct-TCP you might have to setup an APN in your BlackBerry settings at Options->Advanced Options->TCP/IP.
If you keep getting errors it is probably best you contact me directly so I can help you debug this.

Yeah,my configuration is right as u suggested…include the Direst-TCP connection,APN setting..
but there gets the same error:
———————
Dowload key failed:***** Method failed: GET Error opening socket.java.io.IOException..
———————
I think there must some bugs in OS5.0.0.238..
hope for your response.
tks

That is really strange. I have the exact same OS version running on my 8900 and have no problems. Then again it might be different in other network/hardware environments. Maybe it is best if you contact me directly by mail and give me the full error message.

Hi,
I just resent your mail, too. I think I may have to check the whole mail setup here, or is it my style of writing ..

Just wanted to log in to thank you. Got my key in the mail recently and I must say, PaderSyncSSH is pretty awesome. I can now finally retire MidpSSH.
