Kevin, there is a distinction on carriers on the website, just click on sprint, att, verizon, etc on the top of the screen... I do think that the interface sucks, I had to figure this out myself but hopefully it will get better.

OK I am an idiot. I missed the carrier selection. So my complaint #2 above is moot.

Sorry about that, I fully admit I am the person who jumps to conclusions that I normally yell at.

Great idea, but not quite there yet. It has a few problems:

1. As others have pointed out, this is a battery killer. I think it tries to upload data too frequently. It needs to make a larger log file and then upload that less frequently.

2. No distinction between carriers??? I would think the major benefit of this would be to enable you to choose the best carrier for your location. If you don't distinguish the carriers then really what purpose does this serve?

3. I believe there is a listener for the radio antenna in the blackberry API. I think you can set an action to occur when the signal is lost, such as logging the GPS coordinates. If you set the program up this way it theoreticcally would only use a trickle of power.

Hmmm.... well, won't work on my 8830 b/c verizon blocks the gps. And it won't work on my 8330 (even though sprint enables gps) because the phone's not supported.

So... sounds like a great product. :-L

anyone know about iblipped for the Curve 8330?

I don't know if I can trust this yet. I've been submitting from my T-Mo 8900 and nothing has shown up on the map.

I joined in. Just on one BlackBerry though.

And yeah, its a HUGE battery suck. It killed my fully charged Storm in under 4 hours. I may switch to running it on my Tour instead since it normally can go 2 days on a battery charge.
