Looks like Google just put up a quick bug fix for Google Maps. Josep let me know that you can now download Google Maps v3.2.1 from Google’s website. In typical Google fashion there is no change log so its time to play guess what Google fixed!
You can download the update at m.google.com/maps

New layer: favorite places of kind of (or not) famous people for a handful of cities. Can’t seem to clear it from list once you add one–lame.

Google is very smart not releasing changelogs, other companies should do the same. It doesn’t allow hackers to look for future exploits. I know everyone wants to knows whats new and there is nothing wrong with putting out a whats new listing… but bug fixes should be kept private.

I just found a serious bug in Maps on my BB (Curve 8330) yesterday but this update does not fix it. I posted it on the Google Help Forum.

Used to, if you input a destination that had multiple locations and the choose address screen came up you could press # and see he different locations as ABC bubbles on the map. 3.2.0 removed this extremely handy feature and 3.2.1 has not replaced it. Considering how much traveling I do to unfamiliar areas it was very nice to be able to preemptively see which desired locations required the least out of way travel or were closest to a location. Why they removed this feature I do not know but it makes me regret upgrading.
