The team at Widgetlabs let us know that the Vodafone Update Twitter & Facebook client we told you about before has been updated to version 2.0.1. Its a pretty solid Twitter client, though not the most powerful, but its nice to have options.
The new version 2.0.1 adds:
- Copy & Paste
- AutoText
- BIS Connections
Copy and paste is a no brainer but its nice to see BIS connectivity has been added along with support for AutoText. It still amazes me that not all apps support AutoText. I keep on hearing complaints about Google Voice not supporting AutoText for sending SMS.

first, i must say many thanks to widgetlabs for this great application.
since the first time i used the first version, i fell in love with this application. installed it, explore the possibilities and very satisfied with it. but when i found out it only run on BES, WAP or WiFi i returned to ubbertwitter for my twitter application.
then i found out that there is an update for this application, so i happily install the the update that can run on my BIS subsription.
but later on, i get dissapointed cause i’m having a big lag which i didn’t have when i use the prior version (sadly only runs on BES-WAP-WiFi only).
those lags are happened with the facebook account. when i tried to update my status or make a comment in friend’s status i get many error messages. and after 2 days later, i got lag on with my twitter account.
i dont really know for sure if the problem is exists on my carrier (telkomsel indonesia) or the update is not perfect enough to run on BIS.
i wish the developers can see this problem and having it fixed as soon as they can. because i believe this application is better than social scope (wait in vain application).
