It should be noted that the T-Mobile version of the 9700 I have here came loaded with OS 5.0.0.330 higher than that one. So if anyone picks up the 9700 when it comes out for T-Mobile, I would advise against installing this version.

I updated the BB desktop software to the newest 5.x version, and when I connected wy Storm 9500, I received the notification that there was a new SO; it installed version 5.0.0.328, yesterday Nov 4th, 2009.
I didn’t have to downlad this version and do the traditional upgrade with a leaked package. Hope this helps.
