Kisses – Free App Detects & Displays Hidden Programs & Running Processes
NightFire let me know about this free app called Kisses that looks pretty cool. With all the talk about spyware on BlackBerry I thought it would be worth mentioning. While all of this spyware requires somebody to install an application and accept 3-4 security warnings it may still be a concern for some people.
Kisses is a side project brought to you by Zensay that lets you detect and view running processes and hidden applications on your BlackBerry. It also allows you to drill down further into each program and reveal information about its vendor, download date/time, size and process id.
Pretty cool stuff for a free app. You can read more about it at this link or this link or download it at this link. Keep in mind there are no promises that Kisses is not also spyware… (Yes I am uber-paranoid
